Dr. Sumer Singh
Dr. Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design, IIT Delhi. He has been a member of the group for formation of the Department of Design at IIT Delhi, which was formed in 2017. He has worked in initial years for the establishment of two design programmes at MS Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, Bengaluru and MAEERs MIT Institute of Design, Pune. He has been in Advisory roles at Footwear Design and Development Institute (Senate member and Curriculum review committee expert) and Chandigarh University (Board of Studies member for design courses). He has mentored two startups and specialises in the domain of product design and sustainability.

Dr. Surya Prakash Singh
Dr. Singh is Dhananjaya Chair Professor at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. He is one of the most renowned professors in the country in the domain of operations and supply chain management. He has completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and Post-Doctoral fellowship in Manufacturing Systems from Singapore-MIT Alliance, National University of Singapore. Dr. Singh was the FPM coordinator and designed the Manual of policies of FPM(PT) during his tenure at XIMB. He has also contributed chapters to two books published by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Publishing nous, “Technika” Vilnius, Lithuania. He is a lifetime member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Hong Kong; senior member, International Association of ComputerDr. Surya Prakash Singh Science and Information Technology, Singapore; and senior member, The Association of Computer, Electronics, and Electrical Engineers (ACEEE), India. He is on the Editorial Board of Journal of Management and Public Policy. His biography appeared in Marquis, the USA Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, 10th edition, Dec. 2007, and Who’s Who in the World, Edition 2011, Nov. 2010.

Dr. Tapan Gandhi
Dr Tapan K Gandhi is working as Professor in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Cadence Chair Professor of AI and Automation, Joint Faculty in School of AI, IIT Delhi and adjunct faculty in the school of AI and data science, IIT Jodhpur. He received his Ph.D. fellowship from (MIT, USA) and obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering jointly from IIT Delhi.Following his Ph.D., he has spent couple of years as postdoctoral Associate at MIT, USA. Dr Gandhi was also awarded an INSPIRE Faculty in the engineering & technology category of the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. During this 5 years tenure, he is awarded as the excellent INSPIRE Faculty by DST, Govt. of India. His research expertise spans from Computational Neuroscience, Brain imaging, Machine Learning, Cognitive Computing to Artificial intelligence.He has published papers in top ranking journals like Science, Nature, PNAS, Current Biology, PloS Biology, IEEE Transactions. He has more than 200 publications in International journals and conference proceedings.He has received many awards in India (including one from Ex-President of India, Dr Kalam) and abroad for his academic excellence and groundbreaking research. His research work is not only published in top-notch journals but also appeared in many popular presses including TIME magazine, the Boston Globe, the New York Times, MIT News, Harvard News, Wall street Journal and also in the SCIENCE Magazine. Dr Gandhi’s work was selected as cover page in Science Magazine in 2015. He has delivered many invited talks in National and International Universities like MGH, Harvard University, Yale University, MIT, Copenhagen University, University of Groningen, Sorbonne University. He has guided 17 PhDs and more than 40 master thesis and currently 15 PhD students are registered with him working at the interface of natural and artificial intelligence. Dr Gandhi’s lab is involved in various Govt. funded, International projects, and Industry consultancy. He has served as expert member (Task Force) in various research and strategic committees in Govt. of India, UNESCO and other organizations.He has six patents and three technologies transfer to Ministry of Social Justice, Govt. of India. He has received Platinum Jubilee YOUNG SCIENTIST award 2015 by National Academy of Science in INDIA and GYTI 2019 Award, Faculty Chair Fellow (iHUB DivyaSampark, Technology Innovation Hub, IIT Roorkee) and Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship.He is elected Fellow of most prestigious National Academy of Engineering (FNAE), National academy of Science (FNASc.) in India and elected Fellow of Industry Academy within the International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA).

Dr. Satish Kumar Dubey
Dr. Dubey is an Associate Professor in Centre for Sensors, Instrumentation and Cyber Physical System Engineering (SeNSE) at IIT Delhi. He completed his master’s in physics from IIT Madras in the year 2002. Subsequently, he completed his M. Tech and PhD in Applied Optics from IIT Delhi in 2004 and 2009 respectively. In February 2008, Dr. Dubey joined Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh as Scientist but shortly moved to Singapore to work as Optics Engineer at Coherent Singapore where he specialised in laser-based instrumentation for processing applications. He returned to India in 2010 to join Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE) Dehradun, a unit of DRDO where he worked in the area of Thermal Range Modelling and Instrumentation.His next stint was at Corporate R&D, Siemens Bangalore where he worked for six years in the field of Sensors Technology for industry and healthcare applications. At R&D Siemens, Dr. Dubey had mainly worked in two research groups; Applied Photonics and Diagnostics & Biosciences India. He is experienced in design & development of novel measurement/imaging techniques by leveraging the core competencies in optical instrumentation. Dr. Dubey has been actively involved in the development of optics and optoelectronic sensors for industrial and biomedical applications. He has 21 research publications in international peer reviewed journals, 18 papers in international and national conferences, 1 book chapter and 12 patent applications filed nationally and internationally, with him being a co-inventor. His research interests include laser-based instrumentation for measurement and monitoring systems, Interferometric Techniques: Digital Holography, Optical Coherence Tomography Design and Development of opto-electronic sensors for medical applications.
